TOEFL

1. Definition.

TOEFL is abreviation of : Test Of English as a Foreign language. TOEFL is a FERGUSON’s Project to know other’s english capability (in this case : government employee also student). Since 1960’s it’s managed by Educational Testing Service (ETS), (standard test internasional organizationl.)

2. Why we need to know about TOEFL

    a. TOEFL is the complete package in Learning English (inc grammar, listening, etc)

    b. TOEFL is one of test media 

        -Study, commonly S1, S2, S3

        -Work

    Both of them is used in abroad, Especially USA, Eropa, and Australia

    c. Result of TOEFL is the consideration of institution à decide whether we get the position

    c. Reading Structure

4. Type Of TOEFL Test

    a. PBT (Paper-Pencilm Based Test)

    b. CBT (Computer Based Test)

    c. iBT (internet Based Test)
